Hello! My name is Jade Wang and I am an Organizer of this event. I’m so excited to be a part of this incredibly TED community and I am looking forward to hearing all the fantastic speeches from Calgarians. Some of my hobbies include competitive debate and collecting stationery.

Hello! My name is Jasmine Wang and I am the website manager for this TEDx event! My hobbies involve playing the cello, fencing, and an unhealthy amount of public speaking. I am beyond excited to hear everyone's speeches on Saturday, and I wish everyone the best of luck! :)

Hi! My name is Conan, and I’m a student at Western Canada High School. Some of my passions include debate, public speaking, and classical music. I'm thrilled to be part of this year’s event, and am looking forward to all the speeches!

My name is Aurora, and I am currently a grade 12 student at Western Canada High School. I like to bake sweet treats for my family, draw, and hang out with my friends. I love being outreach director for Tedx Western Canada High School because it allows me to use my creative side to promote the event!

Hi I’m Nick Zaquia and I am the venue technician for the event, as well as creating and updating this website! I’m a partial IB student at Western and I'm involved in several clubs and sports including Model UN and Swimming. I’m very excited to see Western hosting an event and  I hope to become inspired by some speeches!

Hi! I am Maggie Xu, a grade 11 student from Western Canada High School, and I’m the Fundraising Director for our team! My hobbies include drawing and reading; specifically, I love reading stories that inspire me, and articles about space and exploration.
